The Australian AI Music Alliance is an Australian industry initiative with global engagement, advancing transparency, trust and responsible innovation in music.

We bring together creators, music and technology companies, researchers, industry organisations and other stakeholders to explore how artificial intelligence is changing music creation, rights, technology and the broader music ecosystem — and how the industry can respond in practical and responsible ways.

Our work spans AI transparency and trust, industry standards, creative innovation, education, community development and emerging commercial models. We support the development of practical frameworks and initiatives that help the industry better understand and communicate how AI is used in music, strengthen provenance and disclosure, and enable AI-related music information to become more transparent, interoperable and useful across the music value chain.

At the same time, the Alliance remains an active community for music creation, discovery and collaboration. Through showcases, discovery initiatives, education, industry engagement and partnerships, we help creators and organisations experiment responsibly with emerging technologies, share their work, connect with new audiences and turn innovation into real-world opportunities.

Our goal is to help build an open, responsible and trusted music ecosystem in the age of AI, where human creativity and new technology can grow together. The Alliance focuses on advancing transparency, collaboration and practical industry frameworks, while rights, licensing, eligibility and policy decisions remain with the relevant industry participants. Our role is to help make AI involvement declarable and interoperable, with verifiable provenance and supporting evidence where available.
